Hello nice to meet you and welcome to the Appalachianeer. My name is Brian. I was born and raised in Cross-lanes West Virginia in the foothills of the Appalachia.. I take pride in everything i do; At a young age i love to take things apart and then put back together. In school i mostly enjoyed the art and wood shop classes. I spent 12 yrs as a dodge technician rebuilding motors and transmissions. After that i decided to pursue a job that offered more traveling so I pursued a boilermaker and pipe fitting career in which to me there is no better job out there. But in each one of these field i have gained a greater appreciation for the word quality and good craftsmanship. at the end of the day being able to stand back and see what you have accomplished and if the clients were happy.. Dealing with that kind of money i would expect the best and nothing less. I'm not offering a new product I'm offering a better product. We all have seen these so called mason jar lamps were the cord runs on the outside of the jar straight to the socket? To me that just doesn't cut it. all this started as a way for me and the other half to spend more time together she loved crafts. So i thought and thought and then it hit me I'm going to make a lamp not buy one and dress it up but make it. I didn't want to copy everyone else mason jar lamps so i decided to learn to drill glass. So over time and many of pounds of glass later i finally got it. i was ready for the vintage jars..To me there's nothing that better defines america and has that down home feeling like a vintage mason jar. Theres not to many things that have with stood the test of time but the mason jar. So here Iam able to repurpose a vintage american made item into a one of a kind unique family treasure and offer it to you.
